'Chancellor' is the largest hollow form we have made to date. It is made from an unknown wood that belongs to the pine family. The materials has been collected from an island outside Bergen.
The natural pattern created by the growth rings gives this piece character. This vase is made to make an impression, it is a magnificent and exclusive piece.
 
The inside of the vessel is left rough, leaving the tool marks visible. This is done to remind anyone holding it that this is carved out by hand. It also gives a beautiful contrast between the smooth outher surface and the rough inside.
