'Faber' is a hollow form made from beech wood. The shape of the vessel sis delicate and well balanced, and will become a stately piece in your home.
It has been treated with wood stain in order to reach its black colour. The vase has a smooth finish.
 
The inside of the vessel is left rough, leaving the tool marks visible. This is done to remind anyone holding it that this is carved out by hand. It also gives a beautiful contrast between the smooth outher surface and the rough inside.
